Fred Bennett from Rugby would have been 18 on April 22, 2024. He passed away in May 2020 at 14 from leukaemia. Throughout the month of April, people will be celebrating his memory and raising funds for Fred Bennett鈥檚 Don鈥檛 Look Down Fund to support Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month.

This includes a campaign to "Buy Fred a Pint" for his birthday, in which people can donate the cost of a drink via QR code, which leads to the fundraising site.聽

Fred's mum, Louise Bennett, spoke to 蜜芽传媒 CWR's Lorna Bailey about the campaign.
