Leicester children mark 'Stephen Lawrence Day'
Children across Leicester have been learning about Stephen Lawrence's legacy.
Stephen was eighteen when he was stabbed to death in a racist attack in south London, 31 years ago today.
Two of the original five prime suspects have been jailed. Last year the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ publicly identified a sixth suspect, Matthew White, who died in 2021.
Reporter Kevin Ncube's been speaking to primary school kids at Dove Bank and Kingway Primary who have been learning about the teenager and his legacy through workshops focusing on hope, friendship and family.
