Messages from Mount Everest
100 years after he died trying to summit Everest and 25 years after his body was finally found, George Mallory's final words are going on display.
Magdalene College at Cambridge University has digitised his letters for all to see.
Famous for the quote 'because it is there', it's not known if he ever made it to the top.
The letters his wife Ruth wrote are also part of a new exhibition this summer.
George Mallory, Magdalene to the Mountain runs from 20 June to 28 September.
Our reporter Dave Webster went to have an early look.
