Sebastian Steudtner has surfed what's possibly the biggest wave ever measured, at 28.57 metres in Nazar茅, Portugal.

If confirmed it would beat his own current record of 26.21m, which he set in 2020.

Sebastian said the two things that 鈥渇ascinate鈥� him the most are the power and speed of the waves.

鈥淚 love to put out these dreams and goals and I make sure they鈥檙e big.鈥�

Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast, Sebastian said that since his first world record attempt, he and his team have been 鈥渟cientifically looking at the waves, our equipment, our bodies鈥� in order to improve his speed and performance.

The German surfer said they鈥檝e also been 鈥渋nstalling the mindset that it is possible鈥�.
