New Harborough school to be fully carbon neutral
A brand new primary school opening near Market Harborough this autumn is promising to be just the second in England to be fully carbon neutral.
Wellington Place Primary School is being built on the new Airfield Farm housing estate. Work on the site of the new school began last year, and in-line with the council’s green agenda, it will be ‘net zero in operation’.
Cressida Knox is the headteacher and told Ady Dayman that the eco-credentials will go beyond the school building.
