Celebrating 40 years of St Richard’s Hospice
For the last 40 years, it's a place that has supported people in Worcestershire with life limiting illnesses, as well as their families.
St Richard's Hospice first opened in Droitwich in 1984 and, since then, has received more than 73,000 referrals.
Its current premises, on Wildwood Drive in Worcester, opened in 2006. The Hospice now has a community centre and 17 charity shops across Worcestershire, with over 1,000 staff and volunteers.
St Richard's marked its 40th anniversary with a special service at Worcester Cathedral.
Our reporter Matt Hutchinson went along and spoke with volunteers, including Eunice Williams and Dawn Bayfield.
