A football supporter said his wife likened him to an alien after his reaction to a tense match became a meme online.
Rob Farmer, 50, was among the away supporters holding their breath at Ipswich Town's crucial fixture against Coventry City on Tuesday evening.
He was captured by television cameras in full slow motion glory as he grimaced and hid behind a friend when a Coventry shot flashed past the goal.
Mr Farmer, from Bristol, said he hoped he would be pulling a "happy face" if the Tractor Boys earn promotion to the Premier League on Saturday.
The loyal supporter had been reacting to the action deep into additional time when he was broadcast live on Sky Sports.
