Inspired by a phone conversation with her father twenty years ago; when feeling homesick on a tour of New Zealand, her father suggested she 鈥渏ust come on home鈥� if she was feeling so sad.

In March of this year, Cara Dillon released a brand new album that was unlike anything she鈥檚 released before. Not only was 鈥楥oming 蜜芽传媒鈥� her first collection of entirely original material but it also saw her combine spoken word with song, exploring themes of motherhood, family, memories and cultural identity. Her show at Derry鈥檚 Guildhall on the 22nd March was a profound and intimate reflection of this new work beautifully balanced with old favourites from Cara鈥檚 back catalogue.
