Kidderminster's F1 legend, 'finally' remembered
Hear how a bust of Peter Collins has been unveiled at the home of motorsport, Worcestershire's Shelsley Walsh.
The Kidderminster-born driver was a contemporary of Sir Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, driving for Ferrari, until he was killed in a crash at the German Grand Prix, aged just 26.
Mark Andrews led the charge for the memorial, unveiling it with celebrities including Richard Hammond, and a star-studded line-up of cars, after a major fundraising campaign and an incredible response from the public.
He tells Tammy Gooding how that ceremony went, and the huge swell of support across Worcestershire.
