‘Humiliated’ by being turned away from a cruise
Mike Ashton from Flitwick was told he couldn’t board the P&O ship in his wheelchair. He insisted his family continue on their holiday without him and he went home. P&O says wheelchair users should fill in the online “on board needs” questionnaire at the time of booking. It also says, its website advises that wheelchairs must be declared or passengers will be denied boarding.
