Are these the world’s strongest brothers?
One brother becomes first Briton to win three World’s Strongest Man titles.
The only brothers to have made the World’s Strongest Man finals have been speaking to 5 Live Breakfast.
This year's championships have been taking place in South Carolina where Tom Stoltman became the first Briton to win three world titles.
The World's Strongest Man is an international strongman competition which has been pushing athletes’ physical strength, agility and mental toughness annually since 1977.
The 29-year-old from Invergordon was crowned champion at the weekend - the third time in four years the 6ft 8in powerhouse has won the prestigious title.
The victory has moved him up the all-time list of World's Strongest Man winners, surpassing fellow Briton Geoff Capes who won it twice.
Tom’s brother Luke is not far behind him either, winning Scotland’s Strongest Man competition five times and Europe’s Strongest Man competition twice, once in 2021 and again this year.
“I came ninth in the final whereas big Tom smashed it and destroyed us all and left us all in his dust.â€
The brothers said they train together, compete together and even do their recovery together.
“We basically do everything together. So I think that’s why we’re very powerful with lots of these competitions as well because we’ve got each other.â€
