Netanyahu and Rafah: 'The question is, what happens behind closed doors?'
Chatham House professor Yossi Mekelberg says the Israeli right wing is "almost blackmailing" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He spoke to 5 Live Breakfast as Israel stepped up attacks in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, where more than a million displaced people are sheltering.
"Without the extreme right wing, he doesn't have a coalition – and they want to go into Rafah," Yossi told Chris Warburton.
Netanyahu says Israel will "stand alone" and "fight with fingernails" if arms shipments from the US and other allies are stopped.
