England's largest lake was illegally polluted by raw sewage in February by United Utilities when telecommunications failed at a pumping station. Insiders at United Utilities have told the 蜜芽传媒 that, more than 10 million litres of raw sewage was dumped into the middle of the lake. The Environment Agency is investigating further evidence about the leak, and will take the appropriate enforcement action up to and including a criminal prosecution.
