Leicester Animal Aid has been honoured at a national awards ceremony.

The charity, which supports the local community as well as re-homing cats and dogs, won 'Team of the Year' at the 'Association of Dogs and Cats homes charity awards', for going above and beyond by changing the lives of those they support.

Keely Furborough and Clare Croughwell from the charity told Ady Dayman that the cost of living crisis has made the service they offer more important than ever.
