
Eddie Izzard: ‘It is a high benchmark of acting to do Hamlet’
Actor and comedian Suzy Izzard, known by her stage name Eddie Izzard, will be performing one-woman Hamlet show in London.
Speaking to 5 Live’s Nihal Arthanayake, she said: “I couldn’t get roles at school, I was smaller, I was dyslexic, I couldn’t do sight reading.â€
“My dyslexia would make all the words come at me once.â€
Speaking about Hamlet, she said: “It is a huge challenge, but it is a high benchmark of acting to do Hamlet to land the play so that people can be moved.â€
