Filmmaker uncovers 'lost' films of 60s music scene
A new film gives fascinating insights into Leicester's 60s music scene.
'Moving in the Shadows' has been written and directed by Joe Nixon, who uncovered 'lost' footage from the period in his father's attic after his death.
It tells the story of the explosion in the culture in Leicester, including the old Il Rondo on Silver Street, which was one of the city's key music venues six decades ago, hosting 'The Rolling Stones', 'Fleetwood Mac' and 'The Who'.
Ady Dayman met Joe on Silver Street to find out more.
