Malvern & 'the technological win' of World War II
The Telecommunications and Radar Establishment played a key role in the war effort and beyond, and much of the technology we rely on today is thanks largely to the work of the T-R-E.
The work they did contributed in an immeasurable way to the war effort - but the workers, many of whom were young men, were disliked by locals, who wondered why they weren't off fighting.
Of course, after the war their nature of their work - and how valuable it had been in winning the war - was revealed.
And now, you can visit a brand-new museum which reveals the impact Malvern had during the war, and beyond.
