Tom Redmond is an international Timbersports athlete from Bere Regis and member of the Dorset Axemen. He holds the British record for single-buck sawing an 18-inch block, using a six-foot hand-saw, with a time of 14.66 seconds.

He pitted Radio Solent presenters Steve Harris and Harry Kille-Smith against each other in a single-buck challenge, to see which of the novices could score a faster time.
