Nara to Norwich: Celebrating Buddhism and Japan
The UEA’s Sainsbury Institute for the study of Japanese Arts and Cultures has been celebrating its 25th year in style. A special exhibition is in place in the Forum in Norwich, which includes the largest scroll painting from Japan – standing at 12 meters high. Jack Maclean met Professor Simon Kaner from the Sainsbury Institute to find out more.
