Chris Tarrant: 'My hero dad never talked about D-Day'
Eighty years ago, 24-year-old Basil Tarrant from Reading led soldiers from the Royal Berkshire Regiment in a successful D-Day assault.
Basil lived until 2005, but his son, the broadcaster Chris Tarrant, tells us his father never spoke about the experience. Chris speaks to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Katie Tyler.
