Could Leeds be heated with geothermal energy?
Researchers at the University of Leeds are working on a project to use geothermal energy trapped underground to heat buildings across their campus. It's part of the University's drive to cut carbon emissions - and reach net-zero targets by 2030. If the trial is successful, researchers hope it could be rolled out across the city.
