A comedian from Hitchin says the process of writing a sitcom for Channel 4 about his experiences of sexual abuse was both ‘cathartic’ and ‘life changing’.

'My Sexual Abuse: The Sitcom' was written by Mark O’Sullivan and aired alongside a documentary about the making of the programme.

He says he hopes it will help encourage more people to speak up and speak out about their experiences.
