It is a tradition that has been taking place since 1662.

Every year, on the 29th of May, an oak branch is paraded through the village of St Neot and then hoisted to the top of the church tower.

It's called Oak Apple Day and began when King Charles the second was restored to the monarchy.

Anna Varle was there and spoke to Church Warden Martin Eddy and the Reverend Gary Swinton from St Neot and Warleggan Church.
