Pershore woman 'given second chance at life'
Rachel Pighills was at risk of being "internally decapitated" after a freak incident, before life-saving surgery rescued her from a deadly spinal condition.
The Worcestershire woman hit her head on a ceiling fan, and now wants to say 'thank you' to all the people who made it happen.
The 38-year-old almost died in 2018 after unpacking in her new home, but a fundraising drive raised more than £200,000, for her to travel to Spain for life-saving surgery, where she had a 'metal fusion' from her skull all the way down to her vertebrae.
Our reporter Tom Edwards went to see Rachel, and her husband Guy, at their home in Pershore.
