The secrets of Abingdon’s ‘vast’ Jurassic dinosaur
A fossil that was discovered in the floor of a quarry near Abingdon has been found to have a 12-foot wingspan.
The fossil was dug up two years ago, but has now been analysed by experts at the University of Portsmouth.
Professor David Martill spoke to Bridgitte Tetteh about what the discovery means.
