Secret new Bedfordshire home for endangered mice
Ten dormice from the Common Dormouse Captive Breeders Group were released into woodland. The hazel dormouse has declined nationally by 70% since 2000, but the population in Bedfordshire is said to be “thriving”. Photo: Clare Pengelly.
