The phone helping people with loss in Stourbridge
Mary Steven’s hospice in Stourbridge has opened what they believe to be the first ‘Wind Phone’ at a hospice in the UK, that’s accessible to all members of the public.
The idea of a ‘wind phone’ comes from Japan, where a grieving man built a type of telephone box at the bottom of his garden that he could sit in a talk to his lost loved one, with the idea being that his words would be carried to the deceased person on the wind.
