Meet the ten year old Jurassic Coast superhero
Ten-year-old Carmela Chillery-Watson from Wareham has taken on the challenge of walking and wheeling, in her wheelchair, 100 miles in just two weeks.
What makes Carmela's challenge all the more remarkable is that she lives with an aggressive form of muscular dystrophy, which only affects one in a million children.
The challenge is part of a sporting event series called 'At ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Superheroes', founded by Paralympian Sophia Warner to provide opportunities for a mix of physical abilities to engage with sport where they live.
Carmela is hoping to raise £10,000 for the Dorset charity Julia's House, which supports her and other children.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris spoke to Carmela, her mum Lucy Chillery-Watson and Sophie Warner.
