Taylor Swift fans targeted by scams ahead of Wembley gigs
Taylor Swift fans heading to Wembley Stadium for her Eras tour are being targeted by suspected scammers on Airbnb. Some new profiles have been set up on the holiday rental website advertising properties surrounding Wembley stadium that appear to use AI images or have multiple people advertising the same room.
An investigation by ѿý London flagged four properties to Airbnb. The company would not confirm the listings were scams, but has said in a statement: “We have zero tolerance for fake listings and these properties have been removed.”
It is urging people to book, pay and communicate through its website to ensure safeguards and refund policies apply.
ѿý London's Frankie McCamley has the story.
