Dine and Dash in Worthing
Andy Sparsis owns the "Fish Factory" and is chair of the Worthing restaurant and hospitality federation.
George Carden spoke to him about the cost to his business.
Chris Neilson from Sussex Police gave us this statement “We take dine and dash incidents seriously, irrespective of the value.
The business crime team investigates these types of incidents as thoroughly as any other retail or business crime.
We recognise the impact it has on restaurants across Sussex, and no business owner should have to deal with this type of behaviour.
The business crime team works with victims to gather evidence and take appropriate action, and we will hold offenders to account.”
