Wimbledon: How Sutton boy Jack Draper became British No.1
22 year old Jack Draper, who was born in Sutton, south London, is set to begin his Wimbledon Championships campaign amidst huge excitement and expectation after the winning streak that made him the British number one.
In the space of a few days, Jack won his first major tournament in Stuttgart, became Britain’s highest ranked tennis player, defeated the reigning Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz at Queen’s and was selected for Team GB at the Paris Olympics.
But how did he get here? And what are his chances at Wimbledon this year?
