Westcliff hero honoured after 67 years
A woman who saved someone from drowning as a teenager in 1957 has been presented with a copy of the bravery certificate she thought she had lost forever. Maureen Roose was just 14 years old when she plunged into the water at Westcliff-on-Sea, to save a family friend.
