Hull writer Vicky Foster has written a book about her partner's murder by a man who came to national prominence after a London terror attack. 'It happened Like This' is the story of the fallout from the Fishmonger’s Hall terror attack in which Usman Khan killed two people and was then shot by police. Convicted murderer Steve Gallant helped tackle the terrorist to the ground. He was later given a medal for bravery. Gallant was in prison for the murder of Hull firefighter Barrie Jackson. Vicky Foster was Jackson’s former partner and he was the father of her children. This is her story.
