Dead swans prompt quality concerns of River Stour
Hector Sainsbury often kayaks in the River Stour at Cowgrove, just east of Wimborne. On Sunday 7th July he posted on social media that he was seeing an abnormally high number of dead fish in the water.
The stretch of water near Eye Bridge is a popular bathing spot for locals, especially during the summer months.
Vikki Slade is the newly-elected MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole. She was told about the issue after Hector's post attracted significant local attention.
