Have our care homes reached crisis point?
A ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ North West investigation has found that one in five care homes across the region "require improvement" or are "inadequate".
Common problems identified by care inspectors included poor hygiene, residents rights to privacy and dignity not being upheld, and gaps in staff training.
Families and care staff say the situation has now reached a crisis point.
