Heavy flooding has forced several closures of Queens Drive in south Liverpool.

The road was closed for five months last year due to severe flooding that tragically resulted in the deaths of a couple.

The road is still closed, but new safety precautions were put in place after that tragedy to avert disasters in the future. They were successfully triggered yesterday night.
