‘We need to do something about the A456’
Campaigners want action to be taken about the number of deaths on the Bewdley Bypass. The major Worcestershire road has had six fatalities in six years, plus more serious injuries.
Libby Marshall, from the town, has set up a group that has already garnered hundreds of supporters, with a petition for speed-deterrent measures already has significant support.
Libby tells Tammy Gooding she's particularly motivated to get something done due to fears about the safety of her own child who uses the dual carriageway and bridge to get to school.
