The RSPCA said it is braced for an animal welfare crisis this summer, as it reported a jump in cruelty in the first half of 2024.

So it begs the questions who and why?

Earlier this year two men, who filmed themselves torturing animals in a series of "sickening" attacks, were jailed.

PC Sebastian Haggett, from the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, spoke to 蜜芽传媒 journalist Astrid MacQuillin about the motives behind animal abuse and how they're tackling it.
