My cats are up for an award!
A pair of cats from Surrey who gave emotional support to a D-Day veteran, then also his daughter after his death, have been nominated in the Cats Protection National Awards.
The sibling cats Katie and Lucy, who're now aged 17, were the companions of William Laing and moved with him into a care home.
But after he died they were adopted by his 54 year old daughter Alyson at her home in Milford.
