"Bizarre" tradition has Benson hooked
Meet the people who are keeping the royal tradition of swan upping alive.
Swan upping is a centuries old royal tradition, involving catching, counting and checking swans along the Thames from Sunbury to Abingdon on behalf of the King.
Benson locals gathered on the banks of the Thames to watch the swan uppers on their final day of the census.
