Parking bills at Pleasurewood Hills

A growing number of visitors to Pleasurewood Hills have been receiving fines.

There's nothing more frustrating than getting a parking fine - especially when you know you don't deserve one because you've paid for a ticket, be it at a machine or on an app.
Unfortunately for what appears to be a growing number of visitors to Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft, that's exactly what has been happening.
George King reports.

We did attempt to get someone from both Pleasurewood Hills and SmartParking, so we could put these concerns to them but both sadly declined.
A spokesman for Pleasurewood Hills, however, did provide us with the following statement.
They said: "Whilst there has been some negativity surrounding the introduction of parking charges at the park it is important to remember that we have welcomed thousands of guests since its introduction, the vast majority of whom have had no issue.
"We became aware of a technical error which resulted in some who had paid still receiving a Parking Charge Notice. But our team have been happy to help
and have been assisting with guests getting these queries answered and promptly resolved."
