The hidden rock carvings at Crantock beach
Crantock Beach near Newquay is well known for having numerous caves which can be seen at low tide.
One of those caves, called Piper's Hole, holds the secret of a woman's face and a poem carved in the stone.
Elizabeth Dale, who writes about local history as the Cornish Bird Blogger first wrote about this cave in 2016 and then uncovered more information as she has been telling Emma Gill.
