GP's vote to work-to-rule
The British Medical Association announced an immediate decision to work-to-rule in a dispute over funding.
In a ballot, 98% of GP members voted for the decision, with the union saying a lack of funding is putting practices at risk. It means some GPs, who usually see over 40 patients a day, will now be able to see no more than 25 a day if they choose to follow these guidelines.
Dr. Gavin Shields is a GP in Coventry and voted for this action. He spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Phil Upton on why he thinks it is necessary.
