Boston man's relief as spy-swap cousin is freed
A man from Boston in Lincolnshire says he's relieved that the 'living nightmare' of seeing his cousin jailed in Russia has finally ended.
Mark Whelan's cousin Paul, a former US Marine, was arrested in Moscow on suspicion of spying in 2018 and jailed two years later.
He was one of 16 people swapped for eight Russian prisoners in what has been described as the biggest exchange since the end of the Cold War between Russia and the West.
