Sheep shearing world record broken in Launceston
Una Cameron, 51, from St Boswells in Scotland sheared 517 sheep at Trefranck Farm in Launceston, north Cornwall, beating the previous women's solo strong wool ewe record by 59 sheep. The feat took place over a nine-hour period with Ms Cameron taking only four breaks.
