Work begins in York to build "Britain’s oldest house"
Naj Modak meets people involved in the building of a replica 11,000-year-old home. A team from the York Museums Trust and the University of York, and experts in ancient technology and archaeology, are building the Mesolithic house in York Museum Gardens. Evidence from the world famous prehistoric archaeological site Star Carr in Yorkshire is being used to build this home.
