‘I flew to Worcester just for a pub quiz’
Jack Carlin lives in Boston and thought he was going to Worcester, Massachusetts. But after realising he got tickets for an event over 3,000 miles away, he made a trip of it!
When he saw the 'Family Friendly Movie Animation' quiz advertised online, as part of the Worcester Festival, he booked himself some tickets.
Jack tells Elliott Webb how the two-day trip of a lifetime came about, travelling with his grandad Jack Thurman. Hear how the event at the Hand In Glove pub on College Street was potentially the only pub quiz that required a passport to get to!
