The Cambridgeshire queen of aviation
Richarda ‘Dikki’ Morrow-Tait made history in the late 1940s by flying around the world – when still only 24 year-old.
She remains the youngest woman to circumnavigate the globe alongside a navigator, but her story remains relatively unknown.
As a new blue plaque is unveiled in Cambridge celebrating her achievements in aviation, Natalie Malcolm hears about her remarkable tale.
