I was hit by a tree in Ashdown Forrest
70-year-old Caroline Leaf and her husband, Kenneth, were walking in the Ashdown Forest, when they were hit by a silver birch tree being felled by conservators.
She was left with a brain injury, unable to speak and function as she once could.
The Conservators of Ashdown Forest have admitted breaching health and safety laws and have been fined £8,000.
Caroline explains to Marcella Whittingdale what she remembers of that day.
