Behind the scenes tour of Droitwich Salt Museum
The museum, based in the town's heritage centre, has picked up a six figure grant to turn it in to an even bigger tourist attraction!
Droitwich salt is an asset which helped make the Worcestershire town one of the richest in the country, and even more affluent than London. After two decades of history, the site has been awarded £130,000 to expand and create an interactive experience, which should come around for 2025.
